Local body officials arrested on graft charges
Top officials of a local body in the Binaghadi district of Baku
have been arrested on graft charges.
Chairman of the municipality in the Rasulzada settlement, Majnun
Aliyev, head of the economy department Nizami Azizov, and
municipality member Aydin Ismayilov are believed to have taken
bribes of large quantity.
The Prosecutor-General's Office department in charge of grave
crimes is investigating the case. The law enforcers have instituted
criminal proceedings.
