SOCAR, WB plan to reduce gas emissions
BAKU – The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) and the World Bank will discuss the preliminary version of an action plan to reduce the company's associated gas emissions on August 30 in Baku.
A document is being prepared under a memorandum of understanding signed between SOCAR and the WB Global Gas-Flaring Reduction Partnership in August 2008.
The meeting will be also attended by operating companies and joint ventures.
