Azeri president meets Portuguese FM
BAKU - Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led
by Portuguese Foreign Minister on Thursday, Luis Amado, AzerTaj
state news agency reported.
The President expressed confidence that during the visit of Portuguese Foreign Minister, bilateral relations will be effectively discussed. He noted the importance of the visit in terms of further development of relations between Azerbaijan and Portugal.
President Aliyev also expressed his hope that the visit of Amado will contribute to the expansion of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union.
Amado said that Portugal could become a good partner for Azerbaijan in the bilateral relations and cooperation with the European Union.
