Large amount of fake dollars revealed in Azerbaijan
Azerbaijani police have withdrawn a large amount of counterfeit
100-dollar banknotes from circulation.
As a result of searches undertaken by the department for combating
organized crime, a resident of the Tovuz region, renting an
apartment in a Baku settlement, was detained while selling 1,032
fake bills for $40,000, the Interior Ministry said.
A criminal case has been launched, and investigation is
underway.*
