Azerbaijan amends regulations on service in customs bodies
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev approved the law "On amendments to the "Regulations on service in customs bodies", approved by the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 768 of December 7, 1999".
Following the amendment, Article 12-1 of the following content is added to the above-mentioned document:
12-1. If it is possible to obtain the documents or information required for employment in the customs authorities through the e-government information system in the relevant public institution, these documents will not be required from the citizen. In cases where access to such documents via the e-government information system is not possible, they will be requested from the relevant state institution with the consent of the citizen, or they should provided by the citizen himself/herself.
