Baku-Paris flight canceled after volcanic burst
The Baku-Paris flight scheduled for 7 p.m. Baku time was canceled
due to the suspension of Charles de Gaulle airport, caused by the
volcanic ash in Iceland.
An enormous ash cloud from a remote Icelandic volcano drifted over northern Europe, Azerbaijan’s state airline AzAL said.
Also, a 12.55 Baku-London flight to the Heathrow airport was canceled Thursday and Friday.
Lenta.ru reported that airline Air France canceled all flights from and to Paris, scheduled for Friday morning, due to the volcanic eruption.
AzAL said, however, that the flights to Milan (19:05 Baku time) and Moscow (22:30 Baku time) have not been cancelled.*
