Azeri lawmakers to hold meetings in U.S.
Four Azerbaijani parliament members are scheduled to leave for
the United States on January 20, says Zahid Oruj, who is part of
the delegation.
During the visit, which is being paid at the US invitation, the
lawmakers will hold meetings in the US states of Washington and
Colorado. Meetings with Congresswomen and Senators are planned as
well. Discussions will center on bilateral relations, the situation
in the Caucasus region as well as the recent allocation of
financial assistance by Congress to the separatist regime operating
in the Armenia-occupied Upper (Nagorno) Garabagh region of
Azerbaijan.*
