Azerbaijan to open nine diplomatic missions abroad
Azerbaijan will open diplomatic representations in nine countries,
Deputy Foreign Minister Vagif Sadygov told reporters.
The diplomatic missions will be based in Serbia, Oman, Argentine, Thailand, Croatia, Libya, Lebanon, and Estonia, as well as in the Georgian town of Batumi.
65 Azerbaijani diplomatic representations are presently operating in countries around the world.
Sadygov added that Palestine’s opening an embassy in Azerbaijan was on the agenda as well.*
