CE body to assess Azerbaijan’s municipalities and judiciary
The Council of Europe Venice Commission will discuss issues on
Azerbaijan at its 81st plenary session, to be held December 11-12.
The discussions will center on draft laws on the status of
municipalities and on obtaining information on activities of the
country’s courts, according to the CE.
The Commission is the CE’s advisory body on constitutional issues. It also provides legal advice on legislation adopted in the CE member states.*
