Almost 600 victims of drug poisoning in six months
A total of 588 people have become victims of
medicine poisoning in Azerbaijan in six months, the Emergency
Medical Aid Station has said.
It said that 493 of them received treatment at the toxicology center. Three to four people a day apply to the station over drug poisoning. In July alone, two people have died after taking fake medicine.
Experts say the problem exists in all countries of the world, as substandard medicine accounts for 50-60% of the market.
