PACE co-rapporteur quitting politics

Evguenia Jivkova, a co-rapporteur of the
Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Monitoring
Committee for Azerbaijan, has announced she is ending her political
career.
Jivkova, a granddaughter of Bulgaria`s late communist leader Todor Zhivkov, said she will not stand in July 5 parliamentary elections, as a life-and-death struggle is ongoing for seats in the Socialist Party she represents.
Jivkova will instead focus on developing the Jenny Style knitted garments brand that she owns.
