Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will pay an official visit to
Ukraine in 2008. Several intergovernmental agreements, including a
document on cooperation in energy security, will be signed between
the two countries during the visit, Ukraine's ambassador to
Azerbaijan Stepan Volkovetski said.
The envoy told reporters that he would hold meetings at the President's Office to discuss the work schedules of the two countries' leaders, the list of documents to be signed during President Aliyev's visit and its date.
"We are working to arrange Ilham Aliyev's visit in May or June," Volkovetski added.
