Hyundai brings spirit of spring to Baku residents
If one asks any resident of the Azerbaijani capital,
Baku, the question "Where are you going to spend your weekend?",
undoubtedly the most popular answer will be downtown "On Torgovaya
Street". In our southern beautiful city, the Nizami Street, also
known well as "Torgovaya", enjoys wide popularity. This location
boasts a great number of top notch stores and restaurants, as well
as the best movie theater in town, and is a favored place for
people spending time with both their friends and family. Hyundai`s
Spring Festival has been held in this particular location.
On Sunday, April 26, a Hyundai mini-town was set up by noon at one of Baku`s main squares, the Fountain Square, and it attracted public attention just minutes thereafter. The event featured contests, drawings and a myriad of presents. The contests were tailored to satisfy any taste. For instance, what does every man care for? Of course, it`s football.
A one-of-a-kind football pitch had been set up at the Spring Festival. More precisely, it was a goal, with each of the participants getting a chance to score. It was a daunting task and not everyone succeeded in doing so, however, everyone received gifts.
A darts game was another fun contest, and a lot of anxious people lined up in a queue to take part in it.
Finally, an intellectual contest consisting of interesting and comprehensive questions compiled and asked by host Tural Yusifov, a popular disk-jockey of the ANS CM radio station, was held.
Each participant could choose one of the contests to take part in and win presents. Moreover, a stand with photos of popular Hyundai cars of the i - i10, i20 i30 series had been set up and anyone could take their pictures by the cars free of charge. These photos will soon be delivered to participants in special frames.
We recall that, as part of the event, a Hyundai Road Show auto-run has lately been held, as well.
Well, the only thing that comes to mind in summing up the Hyundai Spring Festival is that the celebrations were a success. As always, Hyundai bestowed the public with not only memorable presents but, also, and most importantly, an excellent mood.
The Hyundai Auto Azerbaijan company has decided not to confine itself to just one festival and will continue arranging such events throughout May and the summer season.
