Winners of Ganja Marathon-2017 announced

The winners of the Ganja Marathon-2017, held at the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, were announced Sept. 17.
Among men, Turkish citizen Uzeyir Soilemez ranked first, followed by Iranian citizen Muhammad Jafar Muradi ranking second and Georgian citizen Timuraz Baikeev ranking third.
Among women, Ukrainian citizen Valentina Poltavyska ranked first, followed by Azerbaijani citizen Anna Yusupova ranking second and UK’s citizen Natasha Petersen ranking third.
Assistant to the Azerbaijani first vice-president Anar Alakbarov, head of the executive power of Ganja city Elmar Valiyev and president of Azercell Telekom LLC Vahid Mursaliyev awarded the male winners.
Azerbaijani MP Ganira Pashayeva, singer Roya Ayxan and well-known sportsman Zabit Samadov awarded the female winners.
