Eco-project to be presented in Baku

A new ecological project will be presented at Baku Music Academy on November 18-19, Trend Life reported.
The project organized with the financial support of the Youth Foundation under the Azerbaijani President , aims to promote creativity of young generation, respect for nature as well as the cleanliness of the city.
The two-week workshop on the beneficial use of waste will be held as part of the project.

Azerbaijan was ranked the 31st among 180 countries in 2016 Environmental Performance Index – ranking, evaluating how nations protect their ecosystems and human health, prepared by researchers from Yale and Columbia University.
Over the past decade, the number of protected areas, national parks and nature reserves has increased significantly in Azerbaijan, which is very helpful to prevent the deforestation.
