Don't be a dreamer, but a planner

Dreams inspire us and reveal our innermost hopes, desires and fears. They are gateway to creativity but they don’t do a very good job of holding us accountable.

In our imagination we tend to paint a vivid picture of life. We imagine that the Fairy godmother will suddenly appear to make things right.

If you're still waiting for miracles to come, I have bad news for you. It's time to come down to earth. Unfortunately, the Fairy godmother won't solve all your problems, the Prince charming won't climb up your hair and save you from fiery dragon.

We can float through life as dreamers. But if we want to really make a change we must accept a reality. Take your life in your own hands!

Some people just live in illusion. They rarely achieve something significant in life. When something comes up and they don’t achieve their goal, who do they usually blame?

Their friends who are busy with everyday problems, family or the horrible weather that stopped them from going to the gym. They always have their head in the clouds.

Unlike motivated people such kind of dreamers can't adequately evaluate their capabilities. They start things very ambitiously and often leave them midway.

Is mind wandering a good or bad thing?

The research on the subject of mind wandering was completed by psychologists Matthew A. Killingsworth and Daniel T. Gilbert of Harvard University, the journal Science writes.

Killings worth developed an iPhone web app that contacted 2,250 volunteers to ask how happy they were, what they were currently doing, or about something else that was pleasant, neutral, or unpleasant.

The researchers concluded that people spend 46.9 percent of their waking hours thinking about something other than what they're doing, and this mind-wandering typically makes them unhappy.

If you want to turn your dreams into reality, then you’ve got to transform them into goals.

Dreams without goals are nothing. Remember that while visiting your "dream castle"...
