Boris Tadić: Azerbaijan is very tolerant country with regard to facilitating process of understanding among different religions
“Azerbaijan has a key role in the Southern Caucasus region and in the Caspian Sea. The role of the country in facilitating the process of understanding among the different religions is important. Azerbaijan in that respect is very tolerant country, former Serbian President Boris Tadić told AZERTAC.
Boris Tadić also highlighted the significance of the 5th Global Baku Forum: “This forum takes place for the fifth time. The location is very important. Because, I really enjoy with the organization of all Baku forums from the beginning till today. During these five years, world changed so fast. We have to transform this forum to be able to respondent to global challenges.”
Touching upon the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the former President said: “Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is coming from the past. We pay solidarity with Azerbaijan and we perfectly understand the difficulties Azerbaijan is facing with.”
