Azerbaijanis continue to surprise gamers, as following the announcement of the national board game -- Grand Bazaar, this time all eyes turned to Nizami Afandiyev, a resident of the Agstafa region.

Afandiyev announced about a new military game entitled “Shahane”, in fact, reminding a chess, but with a number of novelties and differences.

He is sure that this new invention will leave behind the chess played by millions of people worldwide.

One of the features of “Shahane” game is that it allows gamers to plan a combat strategy, tactics of attacks and defense. The knowledge of logical and mathematical calculations is enough to play the game.

The military intellectual game “Shahane” consists of wooden figures and the inventor spent more than six months to create them. The figures are commander-in-chief, army commander, helicopters, fighting vehicles, fighter aircraft, air security facilities, as well as long-range cruise missiles and soldiers.

The game is played by 48 white and black figures, horizontal and vertical. The functions of the figures-fighters, as well as their names are also diverse. Two of soldiers at the game should be scouts and the gamers should hide this information from each other.

Afandiyev’s invention has already became very popular among his friends and even could attract the attention of residents of many regions in the country.

Afandiyev prepaid Shahane’s theory and even copyrighted the game. Now he plans to realize the online version of the game.
