A famous Azerbaijani artist presented her works at an international exhibition of modern arts in Paris on May 13.

Titled "Russian Palette - Theatrical Novel", the exhibition is held at Russian Science and Culture Center located in an old mansion at the heart of Paris for a week.

"The vernissage is attended by famous artists from different countries such as Russia, France, Greece, Israel, and Kazakhstan. I am especially proud and happy that I represent my native Azerbaijan at this festival of high art," Nigar Narimanbayova said.

Artists are represented by large Parisian galleries and associations such as the popular Parisian gallery "Russian World", the "Stella Art International" association, and others.

Narimanbayova said the exhibition is of particular interest, because each master presents one of his landmark works, widely known and approved by famous art events, there.

"Here I am presenting a painting called 'Flight Illusion', part of my new series 'All Life is a Theater'. This series has already been exhibited with great success at the 'Theatre and Ballet' exhibition at the Paulia Rosa gallery in Paris and the 'Artists of the World' exhibition in Monaco," the artist said.

The event was opened by Igor Shpynov, director of the center, who noted the high artistic level of the exhibition and introduced all the artists and their works.

The exhibition has gathered works of Andrey Tyrtyshnikov, Anna Polikarpova, Galina Didur, Sergey Frolakov, Elena Rezayeva, Lilia Kazantseva, Beatrice Serre, and Filippas Vazakas.

"I also want to share the awesome feeling of happiness from the unprecedented interest of visitors in my painting. The audience stood for hours by my work, made compliments, and said kind words. This is great happiness, to be acclaimed and understood by your audience!" Narimanbayova emphasized.

Nigar Narimanbayova, who lives and works in Paris and Baku, graduated from Azerbaijan State Art School after Azim Azimzade and All-Union State Institute of Cinematography after Gerasimov in Moscow. She has participated in a number of national and international art exhibitions in France, Germany, Austria, and Azerbaijan.

She is a member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan and the International Association of Art. Narimanbayova's paintings are displayed at the exhibition halls of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture and Tourism, National Museum of Art of Azerbaijan, and private collections.
