Fidan Hajiyeva performs in Baku

Azerbaijan's world-famous opera singer Fidan Hajiyeva, performed at the stage of the Heydar Aliyev Palace on April 19.
Accompanied by a symphony orchestra of the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre led by People's Artist Javanshir Jafarov, the honored artist of Azerbaijan gave a concert titled "Sevgili Canan".
Opening the concert, Fidan Hajiyeva greeted her fans, noting that she has performed in many cities of the world but the concerts in Baku have a special meaning for her.
Performing not only solo, but also duets, Hajiyeva sang with Farid Aliyev, her colleague at the stage of the Opera and Ballet Theatre for many years. Her second duet partner was a young, talented singer Chingiz Mustafayev.
The two-hour concert included works by Uzeyir Hajibeyli, Djovdet Hajiyev, Thomas Arne, Frederic Chopin, and so on.
Each song was accompanied by a video clip filmed specifically for this concert, as well as photos of the singer. Along with the works of the old repertoire, Fidan also presented songs from her latest album.
