Works of famous Azerbaijani surrealist artist Mehriban Efendi will be displayed at the international exhibition The Story of the Creative, due from July 25 to September 10 at New York Art Gallery.

According to Efendi, the works at the exhibition will be presented as multimedia files on monitors in digital format using spotlights. Each exhibitor will present three works.

Currently, Efendi's creations are on display at the World Art Gallery in Michigan and Churn in California.

Efendi deserved an invitation to participate at the exhibition after attaining success at previous events held in the U.S.

In 2012 Efendi's work was presented at the Art of the World gallery in Muskegon city in the U.S. state of Michigan, and the artist received an invitation for long-term collaboration with the gallery.

The first solo exhibition of Efendi in the United States was held in 2005 in Bigfork, then she participated at the exhibition "Art and Awareness" in Montana; a few of her works were further demonstrated at the huge electronic billboards "Art Takes Times Square" on Time Square in New York.

The work "Harmony" presented at this exhibition was published in the book "Art Takes Time Square" and was noted as one of the best works in 2012.

In 2003, Efendi took part at an international exhibition organized by Australian artist Paris Saint-Martin, becoming one of the top ten computer artists.

In 2009, the artist's work was presented at an international exhibition in the Netherlands. In 2010 Efendi was among the 56 best surrealist painters in the world.

In 2010, Efendi won the first prize at the international exhibition "Shining" in Bulgaria, which was held under the motto "The ancient codes of my country."

In 2011, the artist won an international award at the festival "Cinema @ Costume moulins" in France in the nomination "The best dress artist." This award was conferred for her costume designs for German director Veit Helmer's film "Absurdistan."
