Gakh, Ismayilli host art exhibition within Azerbaijan art festival

An art exhibition featuring about 40 works has opened at the State Art Gallery in Gakh, one of Azerbaijan's most beautiful cities.

The art exhibition, presented in the country's regions as part of the Azerbaijan Art Festival-2013 project, is organized by Baku Creative Center with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

During the opening ceremony people of culture and art noted the importance of the exhibition for the promotion and development of art in the regions of Azerbaijan.

The work of painter Emil Adigozalli, who drew his own portrait in front of visitors, was of particular interest.

The eighth art exhibition was held at the State Art Gallery in Ismayilli as well.

The main goal of the Azerbaijan Art Festival-2013 project is to increase public interest in art, to explore the existing potential and to support creative youth.

Participants of Azerbaijan Art Festival-2013 are Novruz Mammadov, Mammad Rashidov, Erkin Alekberli, Faraj Rahmanov, Gulnara Alinova, Bahruz Kangarli, Anar Huseynzade, Alekber Mammadov, Anar Ismayilzade, Lala Aghayeva, Mehriban Efendi, Gunel Ravilova, Ayten Shirzadova, Pernisa Asgerova and Aysel Amirova.

The Azerbaijan Art Festival-2013 project envisions arranging mobile exhibitions and master classes in the cities including the capital Baku as well as regions of the country. Earlier, Salyan, Saatli, Shirvan, Kurdamir, Mingachevir and Sheki hosted the mobile exhibitions and master classes. Khachmaz and Sumgayit are the following destinations.

The main purpose of the Baku Creative Center is to promote Azerbaijani culture beyond the country, to formulate a PR strategy for the realization of advanced initiatives and to help people materialize their creative ideas.

The general sponsor of the event is Nar Mobile cellular operator, while Trend Life provides media support.
