Shakira promises grand show in Azeri capital
World-famous pop star Shakira promises a grand show in the Azerbaijani capital Baku during the closing of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup and at her concert in Baku Crystall Hall, where the Eurovision song contest was held this May, she wrote on her Twitter page.
"Looking forward to the shows I have coming up in Baku Oct.13 and 14!! See you guys real soon!" Shakira wrote.
Earlier, the Colombian singer canceled several events due to being pregnant, but she could not decline an invitation to come to Baku.
According to her, she and her boyfriend, Spanish soccer player Gerard Pique, decided for some time to postpone all the promotional activities in connection with their first child.
The singer, however, did not disclose the period of pregnancy. Because of the pregnancy, she took a brief break from performing at the iHeartRadio Music Festival 2012 in Las Vegas, scheduled for September 21 and 22.
