The secondary school, located on the Absheron peninsula, is known for advanced study of the Arabic language and Arabic literature.
Egypt's First Lady Suzanne Mubarak visited the school during an official visit to Azerbaijan in September 2005.
Egypt earlier presented four statues (statue of King Ramses the Second and god Horus, statue of King Tohotmus the Third, statue of goddess Isis and statue of god Osiris) to be erected in the Egyptian-Azerbaijani friendship park in Absheron, which have already been delivered to Baku.
