Boney M gives concert in Baku
BAKU – Legendary German band Boney M gave a concert in the Mardakan seaside resort outside Baku on Sunday.
During the concert sponsored by a leading beer producer of Azerbaijan Baltika-Baku, the group performed Daddy Cool, Ma Baker, Rasputin, Sunny and other hits.
61-years old Bobby Farrel reminded the audience about the previous years by his dances. He was accompanied by three women soloists during the one-hour concert program.
Boney M was founded in 1975 by German producer Frank Farian. The group broke up in late 1980s when Liz Mitchell, Marcia Barrett and Maizie Williams left the group. Only Farrel remained loyal to the group.
It was Boney M’s second concert in Azerbaijan.
