The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Baku for the fourth time will offer festivity toward the people in Azerbaijan by holding the 4th Indonesian Cultural Festival (ICF). The festival will be held in Heydar Aliyev Palace on 11 September 2019 and at Fountain Square on 13,14, and 15 September 2019.

“As always, the festival this year will bring the best and the brightest of Indonesia to Azerbaijan, whether it is its people, its culture, its entertainment, and cuisine. Baku will not only going to be able to witness our cultural performance, but also to taste our food and catch a glimpse of how beautiful Indonesia is. And the most important part, in this Festival is Baku will get to know a little more about our people”, said H.E. Husnan Bey Fananie, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia for Azerbaijan.

The festival will bring officials from the several Indonesian Ministries such Ministry of Education and Cultures, the Ministry of Tourism, and the Ministry of Youth and Sport. It will also bring business communities from several sectors such as consumer goods, houseware and tourism from Indonesia. Some of the best Indonesian artist in term of music, dance and literature will also join in this event. Indonesian Cultural Festival will not only have cultural performances but it will also have exhibition, business meeting and literature seminar to ensure that satisfy the interest of the people of Baku in every lines and layers.

The event would also serve as a showcase of the people to people relation between Indonesia and Azerbaijan, with some performers participating in the event will be Azerbaijani, such as the students at Azerbaijan University of Languages and etc.
