Portuguese artist to present art works in Baku

An exhibition of Portuguese artist Carlos Motan will open at Baku Museum Center on November 17.

The event is organized by Portugal's representation and honorary consulate in Azerbaijan, Azertag reported.

The exhibition "Found and findings" will last till November 23.

Born in Ponta Delgada, Portugal, Carlos Mota studied interior design at the Fine Arts and Coloring Center of the Brussels Art School in Belgium. The artist, currently living in Lisbon, has regularly individually and collectively exhibited hiw works both in his own country and abroad since 1993. His paintings have been presented in a number of countries, including Portugal, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Mexico, U.S., Canada and Brazil.

His work was filmed by director Teresa Tome in the film "Adventures of the Spirit" and highlighted in several cultural television programs of Portuguese television channels.
