Talented young people and art masters of the National Chamber Ensemble of Azerbaijan Television and Radio have presented a festive evening of national music.

The event was co-organized by the International Mugham Center and Mədəniyyət TV, Trend Life reported.

The ensemble,conducted by artistic director and chief conductor Arzu Salimova presented the famous composition of Said Rustamov "Rəqs". Then the works of Azerbaijani classics Tofig Guliyev, Elza Ibrahimova, Emin Sabitoglu, Fikret Amirov, Ramiz Mirishli, Jahangir Jahangirov and others were performed.

Among the soloists were People's Artist of Azerbaijan Gulaz Mammadova, performers Nijat Jafarzade, Rahida Bahish, Agil Rzayev, Turkay Melikova, Konul Mammadli, Babek Shushali, Mammadali Ibrahimov, Aynur Iskandarli, Nisbat Sadrayeva, Khalil Khalilov, Mehri Asadullayeva, Taleh Yahyayev, and Ibrahim Babayev (tar ).

At the end of the evening doctor of philology, professor Tarlan Guliyev stressed that the state pays special attention to the development and propaganda of the national culture.

Azerbaijani music is popular all over the world, the art of performance in kamancha and tare, and mugham are included in the Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO.

It should be noted that such projects as "Muğamat var olan yerdə", "Muğam və mənəviyyat", creative evenongs, etc., were realized within the joint activity of the International Mugham Center and Mədəniyyət TV.
