A pop song contest among composers has been announced in Azerbaijan.

The contest is co-organized by “Culture” TV channel and “Azerbaijan” radio, Trend Life reported.

The Director of “Culture” TV channel, Ramil Gasimov said the project aims to help reveal young composers and support young talents.

Within the framework of the contest, 20 young talents will be selected; works of composers will be aired on TV and radio. At the pop song contest, some 20 beautiful songs will be chosen.

The contest will also ensure the coverage of the economic-cultural development of the country; high-quality samples of culture will be demonstrated to wider public.

For participation in the contest, send your notes of pop song and performance in the electronic format until August 25 to the e-mail: [email protected]

The winners will be given cash prize.
