Hurry up to join Flahertiana Film Festival!

'Narimanfilm' studio has launched acceptance of documentary films for Flahertiana Film Festival to be held in Perm,Russia on September 16-20.
The festival is dedicated to films, which show a character that lives on the screen a part of his life directed by the author according to the laws of dramatic art.
The first edition of the festival was held in 1995 and until 2006 it was held once in two years.
The project includes training for students and aspiring documentary filmmakers and pitching experts and producers from Europe and Russia. Participation is open to documentary filmmakers from Russia and Eastern partnership countries (Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine) with projects that have international potential.
Trainings for filmmakers will be held on September 16-18. Participants will work with experienced producers on the presentation of their projects, attend lectures of jury members and professionals of Flahertiana Workshop. Moreover, screening of documentaries and pitching will be also held as part of the event.
The tutors of the training include Rajkowska Dorota (Poland), Kai, Wesnigk (Germany), Ira Kormannshaus (Germany), Boris Karadzhev (Russia), Jörg Langer (Germany) and Daniel Sponsel (Germany).
The two-days pitching will be held at Flahertiana Forum on September 19-20. The forum will bring together students chosen by tutors and documentary filmmakers. They will present their work to producers from Europe and Russia.
Only 50 winners, including 22 amateur and 12 professional filmmakers will receive a stipend that will cover the costs of travel and accommodation. The deadline is July 15. The results of the selection will be announced on August 10.
