Hard Rock International is calling on emerging musicians to take center stage for the chance to play during half time at Hard Rock Stadium!

As part of this year’s Hard Rock Rising, the most far-reaching battle of the bands competition, artists and music acts at more than 125 Hard Rock Cafe, Hotel, and Casino properties across the globe will drop a beat or sing their hearts out for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

On May 23, Hard Rock Café Baku held it’s internal Battle of Bands. Four Best Bands were participating in the competition: Altun Zeynalov, Dede/Baba, Radio&Video and Dervish Band. Points were given by three independent judges: General Manager of Hard Rock Café Baku Anar Mikayilov; popular singer, representative of Azerbaijan at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014, participant of Voice of Ukraine 2016 Dilara Kazimova and popular tv host, announcer & producer Husniye Maharramova.

4th place with 250 points was given to young & talented Altun Zeynalov.

3rd place with 270 points was awarded to authenctic&original Dede/Baba band.

Only 17 points separated Dervish Band from winner status. They received 283 points and hit the stage with amazing musicianship and vocals.

And the Winner of Hard Rock Rising Baku 2017 with 300 points is Radio&Video Band.

As part of the competition, all finalists received $1,000 USD and chance to compete with regional winners. Winner of the region will get a Fender instruments prize pack, and a 1,000 CD/DVD pack of the artist’s latest recording or video from Bison Disc and chance to pass to next level, which will lead them to Hard Rock Stadium performance in Miami, Florida.
