"Kamerton" music project to be presented

Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibayli will launch a brand new project "Kamerton" on May 22.
The project's author is a senior lecturer of BMA, Julia Kerimova (piano). The concert will feature performance of honored artists of Azerbaijan Farida Mammadova (soprano), Anton Vershtand (baritone), Sabina Asadova (mezzo-soprano) and Leyla Kerimova (violin) and Kamal Pashazade (cello).
The artists will perform works by Russian and Soviet composers, such as Igor Stravinsky, Sergei Prokofiev and Dmitri Shostakovich. They are united by the brilliant poetry of the poets of "Silver Age" – Zinaida Gippius, Sergei Gorodetsky, Sasha Cherny, Anna Akhmatova and Alexander Blok.
In the final part of the concert, a new work of People's Artist of Azerbaijan, Professor Firangiz Alizade will be presented to the audience.
