'Icherisheher' film to be shown in Estonia

A movie by Azerbaijani filmmakers "Icherisheher" ("Old City") will be screened at Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, Azertac reported.

The film shot in psychological drama genre was directed by Tahmina Rafaella, screenwriters are Tahmina Rafaella and Ilgar Safat, stage director Ilgar Safat, stagemanaging operator Luca Coassin (Italy), art director Butunay Hagverdiyev, executive producer Ulvi Gasimov, producer Mushfig Hatamov.

The film is about love of a young girl to Karabakh war veteran. The lead roles are performed by Tahmina Rafaella, Firdovsi Atakishiyev, Mehriban Zeki and Elmira Shabanova.

The film shooting took place in Baku and Zagatala regions of Azerbaijan.

The feature film has been produced by J.Jabbarli 'Azerbayjanfilm' studio under the order of the Culture and Tourism Ministry.

The Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival is a wonderful event combining a feature film festival with the sub-festivals of animated films, short films and children/youth films.

The festival aims to present Estonian audiences a comprehensive selection of world cinema in all its diversity, providing a friendly atmosphere for interaction between the audience and filmmakers from all around the world.

It's one of the biggest film festivals of Northeastern Europe and cultural events in Estonia in the winter season.
