Chinese investors to open brewery up north
Chinese investors will open a brewery operating on
the basis of German and Chinese technology in Azerbaijan for the
first time.
Construction of the enterprise, with estimated daily production capacity of 6,000 tons of beer, was tackled in cooperation with Chinese specialists in the northern Khachmaz district in July.
The demand for beer in the domestic market is quite high, industry experts say.
Raw materials for the new brewery will be delivered from Germany for the time being.
