RSM international strengthens its regional presence
Turkey`s Kapital Karden audit, taxation and accounting firm has
announced its cross-border expansion to set up a new office in
Baku. The opening ceremony took place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in
Baku on Friday.
The Baku office was opened by Lokman Ketenci, founder and Head Partner from Turkey and Kapital Karden Partners, Celal Pamukcu, Sinan Sahin and Zeki Ocal. The Baku office is headed by Tural Maharramov.
Kapital Karden`s office in Caspian Plaza becomes part of the branch offices found in Ankara, Bursa and two offices in Istanbul.
Kapital Karden, established in 1996, is the seventh largest player in the Turkish audit, taxation and accounting market, with 2007 turnover of nearly $7 million. It is a member firm of RSM International, the seventh largest worldwide network of independent accounting and consulting firms. RSM is represented by affiliate independent members in 72 countries and brings together almost 25,000 individuals in over 660 offices worldwide. Affiliate member firms are driven by a common vision of providing high-quality professional services, both in their domestic markets and in serving the international professional service needs of their clients. Addressing the opening ceremony, Ketenci spoke of Kapital Karden`s plans in Azerbaijan.
"Initially, we will focus on small and medium enterprise audit work, in line with RSM International`s mission to be the provider of choice in our chosen markets. Our strengths are our quality standards, our people and our business development. Turkey and Azerbaijan have long and deep bonds, and we are building our business on those ties and are ready for the dynamic changes taking place with our neighbors and dear friends in Azerbaijan."
Maharramov, in his remarks, outlined the advantages of Kapital Karden`s operation in the domestic market.
"With the changes in Azeri statutory requirements being introduced in 2009, Kapital Karden is well-placed to offer the services required here and meet the needs of our international clients. We offer our clients and staff the benefits of being a member firm of a worldwide network."
