Azerbaijan's State Securities Committee (SSC) will put together a package of proposals on the development of the corporate sector as part of efforts to implement the presidential decree 'On additional measures for the development of entrepreneurship' dated March 3, 2014.

Addressing a conference titled "The role of entrepreneurship in economic development: achievements and prospects" in Baku, the Chairman of the SSC Rufat Aslanl said:"The package will include proposals on various reforms, as well as those on clarifying the functions and procedures of the activities of joint stock companies' governing bodies and clarifying the mechanism of payment of dividends and other issues. The package will be completedbmitted to the head of state in the coming days," Aslanli said.

He went on to note that international experts were successfully involved in the development of this segment and their opinions have been taken into consideration while working out the proposals.

"I am confident that the implementation of the project using international experiences will contribute to the development of the country's corporate sector," Aslanli said.

Later the SSC and the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (employers) Organization signed a memorandum of understanding. The document was signed by Aslanli and Chairman of the Confederation of Mammad Musayev.
