Azerbaijan represented at Chicago Travel and Adventure Show

Azerbaijani Travel agencies, including AL Travel, Caspian Breeze, CBT Azerbaijan, Express Tours and Intour Travel, which joined the travel promotion project "Wonders of Azerbaijan", have participated in the 2014 Chicago Travel and Adventure Show on January 11-12.

The "Wonders of Azerbaijan" project was set to promote Azerbaijan as a travel destination to international travelers from the United States, AzerTag state news agency reported.

"The project seeks to establish business relationship with leading U.S. travel agencies and tour operators catering to the needs of discerning international travelers from the United States and we are particularly interested in cooperation with U.S. travel professionals delivering travel services to such destinations in Eastern Europe, Middle East and Central Asia," Marketing manager at Wonders of Azerbaijan Nigar Rasulova said.

The Azerbaijani stand under the motto "the Country of Fires and Center of Tolerance" presented materials on Azerbaijan`s nature, history, culture, culinary and others.

The two-day event brought together 250 representatives from across the globe, including U.S. and international destinations, including the numerous exhibitors and booths, travel experts who shared their experiences and tips with guests.

The Travel and Adventure Show is the longest-running series of consumer travel events in the U.S. with shows in Los Angeles , Bay Area (Santa Clara), Chicago, Washington D.C. and Dallas.
