Customs agency ensures nearly 65 pct of budget transfers
The Azerbaijani State Customs Committee (SCC) transferred nearly 888 million manat to state budget in January-August 2013 via collection of customs duties and taxes.
The committee reported that the income in August from customs duties amounted to 31.75 million manat, value-added tax of imported goods was 82.54 million manat, excise taxes - 7.89 million manat, and road tax - 1.62 million manat.
A forecast of transfers through the SCC for 2013 was set at 1.38 billion manat.
