Azerbaijani tax authority joins IOTA Executive Board
The Azerbaijani Taxes Ministry admitted to the Executive Board of the Intra-European Organization of Tax Administrations (IOTA) at the 17th General Assembly of the Intra-European Organization of Tax Administrations held in Bern, Switzerland,AzerTac state news agency reported.
The General Assembly brought together more than 150 representatives of tax agencies from 43 member states, including 11 international and regional organizations, as well as EOCD, IMF, European Commission, World Bank, Inter American Center of Tax Administrations, International Tax and Investment Center (ITIC).
In the administrative session of the General Assembly, Director of the Tax Administration of Serbia Ivan Simic was elected the new president of the organization for 2013/2014.
