The International Trade Fair for Food Processing Technologies (FOTEG ISTANBUL) 2013 welcomed its visitors for the 11th time with the honor of being the leading trade fair of the industry, at the (CNR) Expo Center, in Istanbul, Turkey on March 7.

FOTEG ISTANBUL 2013 gathered the food processing industry professionals together at the same venue from Turkey and abroad.

International exhibitors from all over the world seeking representatives in Turkey, as well as the visitors of the FOTEG ISTANBUL 2013 were very satisfied with the event.

FOTEG ISTANBUL is the very first International Trade Fair in Turkey that integrates all of the stages of food processing and packaging technologies under one roof. This year over 200 leading companies operating in the fields of Food Processing, Food Ingredients, Food Packaging, Bakery Technologies, Food Safety & Hygiene from all across the world were gathered in the heart of Istanbul, known as the city of crossroads which unites east and west, south and north.

Many new technologies and innovations in the industry of food processing and packaging were unveiled at FOTEG ISTANBUL 2013 for the visitors.

Being the most efficient food processing technologies trade fair of Turkey and of the region with 60% overseas participation rate FOTEG ISTANBUL 2013 proofs to be a true international exhibition by hosting countries such as Germany, Italy, Bulgaria, China, Greece, Denmark, France, The Netherlands, Poland, Romania and England.

FOTEG ISTANBUL 2013 was organized by UFI Certificate owner HKF Trade Fairs.

FOTEG ISTANBUL 2013 welcomed many visitors all around the world but mostly from Middle East and Turkic Republics and the exhibition also served for some scientific activities, workshops organized by the participating companies. The organizer HKF Trade Fairs also organized seminars and panels.

As the first and only one international trade fair of its kind in Turkey, FOTEG ISTANBUL has the honor to carry the UFI (The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry) Approved Event certificate, the highest seal of international quality.

FOTEG ISTANBUL 2013 was more efficient for its exhibitors and visitors than in previous years, thanks to the newly introduced B2B application, which is a first in the Turkish exhibition history. This new application allowed the visitors and exhibitors mutually ask for business appointments through FOTEG ISTANBUL 2013 web site and hold one-on-one meetings during the event.

FOTEG ISTANBUL is an effective business platform with its wide content for the exhibitors since its beginning.
