Azerbaijani ministry transfers tax payments of over 745 million manat to state budget
The Azerbaijani Ministry of Taxes transferred tax payments worth 745.598 million manat to the state budget in January 2013, a message posted on the ministry's website said.
The share of payments on profit tax amounted to 54.3 percent of the total amount of tax revenues, value-added tax - 18.6 percent, income tax - 8.3 percent, excise - 5.8 percent and other taxes - 13 percent.
Tax deductions from the non-oil sector to the state budget amounted to 304.253 million manat.
Some 8,530 taxpayers passed state registration in January 2013.
The number of people registered in electronic form from July 1, 2012 to February 1, 2013, hits 60,923. The total number of taxpayers as of February 1, 2013 was 489,180.
In January, 2013, the share of tax declarations filed in electronic form was 91.2 percent.
