Financial magazine presented in Baku

A presentation of Financier magazine newly established by the Association of Professional Financial Managers (APFM) was held at the Marriott Absheron Hotel in the Azerbaijani capital Baku on Tuesday.
The magazine's editor-in-chief, Ramil Bagirov, making a presentation about the magazine, said it mostly covers financial news, as well as financial management and accounting.
The event was attended by the chairman of the Azerbaijani Parliamentary Committee for Economic Policy, MP Ziyad Samedzadeh, Deputy Minister of Taxes Sahir Mammadkhanov, Azerbaijani state oil company SOCAR's Vice President Suleyman Gasimov, Ernst & Young Country Managing Partner Ilgar Veliyev, chairman of Azerbaijan's Audit Chamber Vahid Novruzov and other distinguished guests.
APFM Azerbaijan representative Nuriyya Novruzova spoke about the magazine's establishment.
Speakers noted the magazine's importance and wished the magazine success, creation of an online version as well as its publication in English and Russian in the future.
Heads of the APFM Kazakhstan and Ukraine offices extended their congratulations online.
APFM, which is the Azerbaijani representation of the Institute of Certified Financial Managers, was created in 2007.
