Over 12 mln tons of cargo transported via sea in Azerbaijan in 2012
About 12.4 million tons of cargo was transported via sea in
Azerbaijan in 2012, AzerTac state news agency reported.
According to the State Statistics Committee, 60.5% of this amount
was oil, while 39.5% was dry cargo.
Some 11.9 mln tons of shipping and unshipping works were conducted
during the accounting period, up 0.4% from the previous year.
International transit cargo rose 1.8%, while the amount of import
cargo decreased 11% in 2012.
