Over 52 mln tons of cargo transported through Azerbaijan in Jan.-Nov.
Transport vehicles transported 52.053 million tons of cargo through Azerbaijani territory from January to November 2012, which is 4.95% less than in the same period of last year, the State Customs Committee's (SCC) website reported on Wednesday, according to Trend news agency.
The exports of goods during this period hit 28.005 million tons and imports made up 8.494 million tons.
During the 11 months, 236,900 tons of cargo were exported by sea transport, 2.66 million tons by railway, 527,890 tons by motor vehicles, 391,860 tons by air transport, etc.
About 1.372 million tons of cargo were imported by sea transport, 5.243 million tons by rail, 1.773 million tons by motor vehicles and 19,400 tons of cargo by air transport.
Some 15.55 million tons of cargo was transported by transit through Azerbaijan's territory between January and November 2012.
