Azerbaijan to buy 100 new passenger train carriages
Azerbaijan Railways plans to buy 100 new passenger carriages as part of the renovation of rolling stock, the deputy head of the company Gurban Nazirov said on Friday, Trend news agency reported.
According to him, requests have been made for the purchase and the negotiation process is underway.
During the renovation of the rolling stock, Nazirov said, about 50 passenger carriages were sent to Ukraine for overhaul. In addition, the repair of another 30 carriages is planned, he added.
