Azerbaijani businessmen invited to exhibition in Turkey
Azerbaijani entrepreneurs have been invited to the Tureks International Exhibition due in Istanbul on December 6-9, AZPROMO said.
The exhibition will feature special equipment and installations for use in the recreation parks, Trend news agency reported.
Given Azerbaijan's interest in development of the tourism sector in the country, participation in such events can bring positive results, as amusement parks are one of the most attractive places for tourists.
Tourism Department head Aydin Ismiyev said earlier that within the six months of 2012 the number of foreigners visiting Azerbaijan hit 1 880 823 people which is 7.1 percent or 72 264 more than compared to the same period off the last year. The number of foreigners visiting Azerbaijan last year amounted to 2.239 million people, with 1.836 million of them are tourists.
