Georgia to attend BSEC business forum in Baku

Georgia will take part in a business forum, scheduled by the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) in Baku on Monday.

The Georgian delegation will include MPs, as well as representatives of the business sector.

The business forum, which will be held within the BSEC Parliamentary Summit, will bring together members of the organization. According to preliminary information, it will be attended by about 100 Turkish and 300 Azerbaijani companies.

The BSEC was established on June 25, 1992, after heads of 11 states signed the Istanbul Summit Declaration and the Bosphorus Agreement. The purpose of the organization is to support multilateral political and economic initiatives in the Black Sea region. Today the organization brings together 13 countries.
