Baku Stock Exchange studies experience in managing investments, assets

The Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) will examine the experience of the investment company Carlyle Group in managing global investments and assets, BSE said on Monday.

Chairman of board of BSE Emin Aliyev is taking part at the 2012 London Investor Conference to be held on November 17-21 at the invitation of Carlyle Group. Aliyev will hold meetings with the company's top management and become acquainted with the new investment funds of the Carlyle Group, their composition and governance mechanisms.

The Carlyle Group is one of the largest investment companies managing the assets worth about $160 billion. It was founded in 1987. It specialises in venture investments, leverage ransom of companies, high-yield debt and real estate. Its headquarters is in Washington.
