Azerbaijan preparing e-signature mobile platform
The Azerbaijani communications ministry is working to develop a platform of issuing e-signatures by using mobile technology,DeputyMinister Iltimas Mammadov said.
He said that the new platform will be put into operation by late 2012. Besides simplifying the e-signature issue procedures, it will increase the number of users of the electronic government portal.
According to the ministry, 28 organisations have received 2078 e-signatures so far.
Over 150 of the existing 395 electronic services provided by Azerbaijani state agencies have been integrated into the electronic government portal, which serves as a gateway to ensure information exchange between state agencies.
The tasks of the portal are not limited to a specific number of services. The number of e-services presented on the portal may reach several thousand.
