First market-maker to enter Azeri securities market by year-end
Baku Stock Exchange has started talks with several market players that have formally applied to the BSE in order to act as market-makers in the Azerbaijani market, the stock exchange said on its website.
"The first market-maker is expected to enter the securities market by the end of this year," it said.
On August 15 the BSE Supervisory Board adopted market-making regulations of the stock exchange. The rules envision establishment of a market-making institution and regulation of its activity on the BSE.
